Corporate Cafeteria

Ultradent asked us to remodel the cafeteria at their corporate headquarters. They wanted the cafeteria to be an inviting and familiar place for employees to connect. Through the use of softer furniture, a more natural color palette, and rawer material, like rough sawn lumber, we created a more coffeeshop like atmosphere. A number of different seating options, like bar height counters, booths, and more casual seating vignettes, help break up the space and create unique zones for people to have lunch rather than just having a large open area full of tables. The space featured a Boston Market, a space for employees store a heat their own lunches, and Avenue C which is a self checkout vending system. On a short timeline, we only had a few weeks to design the project. Working with Layton Construction, they were able to building the space over the company's Christmas break in just 3 weeks.
